Our centres
St Mellitus College is based in four different centres, spread across the UK: London, Chelmsford, the South West and the East Midlands. In God’s generous economy, these centres not only serve the regions they are located in but also feed local wisdom and learning back into the whole College. Every student and staff member at St Mellitus College benefits hugely from being part of a growing and diverse community rooted in a number of different contexts across the country.
Chelmsford
All our training at the Chelmsford centre is offered part-time, with teaching delivered on Thursday evenings. You can study here for ordination, licensed lay ministry, and part-time undergraduate programmes.
East Midlands
In our East Midlands centre, you can study either full-time or part-time. Full-time students come in for their teaching on Tuesdays, and study for ordination, undergraduate or postgraduate programmes. Part-time students receive hybrid in-person and online teaching on Monday evenings, and can either do ordination training or undergraduate programmes.
London
In London, we have both full-time and part-time students. Our full-time students can train for ordination, undergraduate or postgraduate degrees and come on site on Mondays for their teaching. Part-time training is offered on Tuesday evenings, and includes ordinands and licensed lay ministers, as well as introductory and undergraduate programmes.
South West
Our students in the South West centre study full-time for ordination, with teaching delivered on Tuesdays, or they pursue either full-time or part-time undergraduate study.
