The Revd Dr Ben Sargent is the Priest in Charge of Bransgore and Hinton Admiral, two rural parishes in the Diocese of Winchester. He studied for a DPhil in New Testament Studies at the University of Oxford between 2009-2011 and has a strong track record of research and publication in New Testament and biblical interpretation alongside full-time pastoral ministry and spending time with his large family (seven children!). Ben is the General Synod appointment to the board of governors.
