The PhD partnership with Durham University allows successful applicants to undertake the Durham PhD programme while based at St Mellitus College. Students will be co-supervised by a member of Durham’s Department of Theology and Religion and a member of St Mellitus College staff. In the first instance, prospective students can either approach a member of the St Mellitus College academic staff team directly to enquire about PhD supervision or email research@stmellitus.ac.uk with details of their proposed area of research.

Please note that PhD students on this route become students of Durham University and can only enter the programme by applying to and being accepted by Durham University. However, initial discussion should take place with St Mellitus College prior to contacting the University.
