Tell us a bit about yourself

My name is Joan, I study Beginning Theology at St Mellitus College. I’m also a vintage fashion dealer with an undeniable love of dogs. I enjoy cooking, travelling and antiquing. In my spare time I take great pleasure in spending quality time with my family.

What drew you to study at St Mellitus college?

I wanted to pursue my studies in Business but had a divine dream I graduated collecting a Theology Certificate instead, so I decided to pursue my dreams literally. What was interesting to me is that I bookmarked St Mellitus on my computer over three years ago, I was convinced that St Mellitus was where I was meant to study.

What was been a highlight of your studies?

The highlight of my studies has been the quality of learning that is being provided by the college, it gives you this drive and zeal to want to learn more.

How were you supported during your time at St Mellitus?

The team at St Mellitus are just amazing! The understand the meaning of community and unity. I really find the formation groups so helpful; it gives an opportunity to just talk about your life and whatever you might be facing.

How would you describe your time at St Mellitus College?

My time at St Mellitus has been rewarding and it has help me to have a clearer vision of my purpose.
